:: OUTSOURCED ::

Today has been a strange day for me. I woke up knowing I had a hard decision to make. I've been offered more hours and responsibilities with my job. For the past 4 years I have been able to work for Carone Fitness entirely at home with my kids around. I've had help on busy busy days, but for the most part I could juggle it. But not lately. I can't stay up working until 2:00 am any more. I have too many other things going on in my life, but I really like (and need) my job. So - I have hired help. I don't feel wrong about it at all, just different. Cohen used to go to my in-laws house every day while I was working full-time and Mike was in school and we've had people babysit our kids all of the time, but this just feels so different. This is a decision that is going to help me stay on top of my job. I can set aside a specific time for work and not feel guilty that I have kids in the other room watching television. I won't mutter the words, "just a minute." so often. A little bit of my heart breaks thinking about it. But I am ready.

PS. This post is random. I don't even know what I am trying to get out...just some feelings. The end.

You have to do what is best for your family! :) Working and being a Mom is super hard, so I admire you for doing even that! I had to take Braylie to a babysitter at 9 months.. I couldn't get anything Done! IT is a WEIRD feeling letting someone else take over, but it really is good for them! :) GOOD LUCK! I was going to ask you what you did for work, cus I know you did it at home.. I am going to need something part time at home after baby comes..is it something I could do!? ;)

William goes to a nanny full time and I love it/hate it all at the same time. I sound like a terrible mommy but it's really good for both of us.
I honestly could not work from home with a child, it would be one thousand times harder at least!!
Good luck :)

Lori, I am looking at starting a little Mommy Watch, that is what I will call it. Similar to a DayCare but I think a little more special.If you found a day care you like great if not and are looking I am here. I can watch your 2 darling children and they will have mine to play with. We do crafts, imagination time, a little computer time,snacks and Activity/music movement time. I don't have pricing so let me know what you are paying and I will be less :)
I wouldn't have more than 2-4 kids so really small.

I think if you do need time for work, and kids do need extra attention, it is great to get the kids someone that can help you out with that extra attention. Good mommies know that, it is hard but good job :)
